Hrunting
the Sword of Beowulf
In pagan Europe one of a mans few cherished
possessions was
his sword while most everything else;
land, livestock, houses, was owned by the women.
A knights sword was the Defender of Light against the forces of
darkness;
symbolizing Purification, Spiritual Evolution, the all conquering Spirit,
as well as the Magical Power to fight off Evil.
During the middle ages, the sword was seen as a symbol of death
and psychic strength as well as a symbol of the Spirit and the Word
of God.
We have named our amulet Hrunting after the Ancient Royal
Sword
given to Beowulf for his epic fight with Grendels mother.
After the titanic battle, Grendel, the first and elemental evil,
is beheaded and his head is taken by the triumphant Beowulf as a trophy.
Our concept of Hrunting, the Royal Sword of Beowulf,
has the skull of the Evil Grendel as the hilt of this magical sword.
By wearing this amulet you can imbue your spirit with the strength of
Beowulf
and all the magical properties of the symbol of the sword:
Enlightenment,Spirituality, Strength, and Power.

Irminsul, a Cosmic Tree symbol, was Sacred to the Saxons of Ancient
Europe.
Equated with Yggdrasil, the World Tree of the Norse,
the symbol once existed in Northern Germany but was destroyed by early
Christians under orders of Charlemagne in 772 AD.
The only surviving image of Irminsul was reportedly carved into the
rock formations of the "externsteine," a huge natural rock
formation long
used as a Pagan Holy Site: often described as mainland Europe's "Stonehenge."
On the trunk of this Cosmic Tree is the 'GAR' rune, seen only
in the Anglo-Saxon runic alphabet. Gar is the last rune, and means 'Spear.'
More accurately, it refers to "Gungnir," Odin's Magical Spear;
a Dwarven Magical
Weapon given to Odin by Loki. Related to Thor's Hammer, the Spear never
misses its mark,
and always returns to Odin's hand.
Gungnir was also considered to be the Cosmic Pillar,
an axis linking the various Realms of the Universe: the Heavens and
the Underworld.
Its magical meaning is the stable reference point,
which is at once all around, internal, external, micro and macrocosmic;
the beginning and the end of all things.
Gar was used as a magical word for bringing magic into being,
such as the phrases 'ka!' and 'abracadabra.'
The power of this symbol offers the protective and defensive qualities
of this
Magical Spear to those who defend and support nature's cause.

"Mjolnir"
Thor's Hammer
The
magic hammer of the thunder god, Thor. Mjolnir, produced lightning bolts
and was Thor's indispensable weapon against the enemies of gods and
men.
With it he was invincible in battles with frost giants,
mountain giants, hill ogres, trolls, and other monsters
and demons that threatened heaven and Earth.
After being thrown, the hammer would return, to Thor's hand.
The Norse people believed that when the ground was struck by lightning,
Thor had sent his hammer crashing to the earth

Outlander
Battle-Axe
This
original sculpting, was inspired by Ancient Warrior tales of the Icelandic
Viking myth.
The axe has several power symbols combined into the design.
The hilt is capped by a terrifying skull; a symbol of the power of death.
The tip of the axe is shaped like a Ravens head; symbol of the
valkyrie or battle maids
- death angels who delighted in warfare and guided
the warriors souls to Valhalla after their heroic deaths.
On the blade of the double headed axe are designs resembling the Nordic
rune, Perthro,
the symbol of luck to help insure Victory in Battle!!!
The Outlander Battle symbolizes strength of arms, victory in battle,
and life after death!
