The Dragonfly encourages us to live by the motto, "Let
there be light."
Learning to use the light force and the life force will inspire your
imagination and creativity. The beautiful jewel-like colors of the Dragonfly
are a reminder that we too are beings of light and need to allow our own
true colors to shine through. Dragonflies inhabit two worlds; as nymphs they
begin their
life in the water, then go through metamorphosis and adapt to life in the
air.
If the dragonfly is your totem, you experience the depth of your emotions,
through your relationship with water, and achieve the highest mental clarity
as you shift to the realm of air. We are delighted by the dragonfly only during
the day,
when it can absorb the light of the sun. Those who are akin with the Dragonfly
will need plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and warmth to experience optimal
health
and well-being. The power to reflect and refract light and color has attracted
us to
the dragonfly as a source of magic and mysticism. Through the ages, people
have sought wisdom
and healing energy from these colorful beings of light.
Invite the Dragonfly into your heart and watch your creativity soar as the
beauty of
light creates magic in your life.

Enlightenment
(The Lotus and the OM / AUM)
actual size: 1&1/8" h X 1"w
This Original concept contains two powerful Symbols of Enlightenment:
The Lotus Blossom and the Aum Symbol. The Lotus has been used for millenia
as a
symbol of the Flowering of Conciousness from the muck of the Material World.
With its roots in the mud, the lotus rises through the murky water to blossom
clean and bright,
symbolizing Purity, Resurrection, and the Enlightened Being that emerges undefiled
from the Chaos and Illusion of the World. The eight-pedaled lotus symbolizes
Cosmic Harmony,
and the thousand-pedaled lotus, Spiritual Illumination. In Egyptian mythology,
the lotus was
associated with the Sun, because it blooms by day and closes by night. The
lotus also
symbolizes Rebirth and serves to remind us of the miracle of Beauty, Light
and Life, and to
communicate an understanding of the Tao and our place in the world.
Above the Lotus, as if it's fragrance, is the Aum symbol. The Aum pictogram
can be seen
as a Bow with the Arrow of Spirit taking flight on a Spiritual Quest.
The creator of this design, Chris Bennett, put it thus: "Our Soul becomes
like an
arrow in flight though the barrier of our limitations to the Source of
the all-unfolding flow of Creation called Aum."

Hunab
Ku
Mayan Symbol
of Energy Balance
"Polarity is
the loom upon which reality is strung"
- Mayan Proverb
actual

It
is not widely known that the Mayan people of ancient Central America used
the Yin-Yang
Symbol although male and female polarity is the cornerstone of the Mayan view
of world creation.
The entire Mayan social structure was based upon a form of mastery of one's
own energy, where the
"Serpent's Energy" that dwells in the root chakra was raised up
the spinse to the crown chakra.
Thus polarity in the body was balanced and perception took flight. The adept
was then called "Quetzacoatl".
The Quetzal is a beautifully colored bird revered for their plumage, and "Coatl"
means simply "serpent".
That initiates took the name of their god upon achieving this state is an
important clue to the mystery of this path of evolution.
To the Maya, every being in the universe is connected to the source via "
Kuxan Suum", the umbilical cord of the uioverse,
which is attatched invisibly to one's navel. The opposite end is attatched
to the sun, and then on to "Hunab Ku",
the galactic central point around which our solar system rotates. Thought
to be a black Sun,
It is the source which raiates pure spiritual energy, which nourishes all
souls from microscopic organisms to the whole planets.
On a personal level, acheiving a balanced polarity in the body allows a direct
current through "Kuxan Suum"
connecting through Hunab Ku, which saturates the mind, body, and spirit with
the purified energy of the universe.
It is commonly thought amongst the surviving Maya and by esotericists that
the ancient
Maya dissapeared off the face of the Earth and now travel the stars after
achieving this state.
Today one can still find Hunab Ku woven into the textiles and painted on pottery
by the decendants
of the Maya in remote regions of Mexico and Guatemala.
To
wear this symbol brings brings balance to the mind, body, and spirit.
Many illusions can be seen in the mirror of polarity, but freedom resides
there too.
Hunab Ku helps reveal the apparent seperation caused by beliefs induality,
and unravels the truth behind relationships. This allows one to renew their
polarity balance.

This
tree lives in the center of Annwn and is the first Tree of Creation.
The ancient Bards called it "Trefuilngid" (Tre ecohair),
the tree of the "three keys" or three saplings. This tree is alive
with Song, Dance, and Merry Making.
And on its limbs the birds of Rhiannon sing so beautifully that "whoever
hears them remains in a timeless state".
From this first "Great Tree," the Mother Goddess, Dana brought to
Tara {Ireland}
a branch with three fruits: nuts, apples, and acorns. From this branch all
trees of the earth took root.
As a symbol of this belief the Bards of ancient Ireland wore a "musical
silver branch" as an insignia.
Each silver branch was said to be a casting of the original branch of Dana.
Even the Kings bowed
before the Bards who wore the silver branch of the Great Tree,
alive and singing in the center of Annwn, the Realm of the Fairies.

The Caduceus is one of few Magical
Symbols still found in modern institutions today.
This unique symbol is Sacred to the god Hermes
(Roman-Mercury) and used by Healers for thousands of years. Incorporated
into its design is the "Winged Serpent," a motif found in many Ancient
Civilizations most notably the Egyptian, Mayan, and Greek. This Serpent can
be seen as the "Kundalini Energy" spiraling up the spine, empowering
the 7
Chakras, up to the Crown Chakra where Cosmic Consciousness blossoms and
takes flight hence the Eagle's wings. This metaphor expresses the Ancient
Wisdom that True Healing only takes place when we conquer our unevolved or
unloved aspects by Spiritual Progression. This Spiritual approach to healing
is still found in the Far East today.
The central axis of the Caduceus represents the male/female energy
combined i.e. Neutral, the Orbs are the Root and Crown chakras. The two
snakes are traditionally coloured silver and gold, the left being the Female
negative, Lunar, and the right being the Male positive, Solar. In kundalini
yoga, when the Serpent Energy is moved up the spine to the Crown, and then
moves down the front of the body back to the root chakra- the 'microcosmic
orbit' is completed. Thus connecting Man the Microcosm with the Universe,
the Macrocosm or the "realm of the divine."
This pendant brings Deep Healing, Revelation of the Root Cause. Ease
is the cure to dis-ease, and the Caduceus invokes Good Health, Strength, and
Healing Power to overcome illnesses, be they of the Mind, Body, or Soul.

Fighting Phoenix

The
Phoenix is a magnificent bird-like creature,
born from the myths of ancient sun-worshipping peoples. The Phoenix is said
to live for centuries. Since it causes it's own death by self-immolation,
and is reborn from it's own ashes, it has become a symbol of resurrection
and immortality for many cultures. The Phoenix is also known as the "Fire
Bird." It's fiery death and rebirth by it's own flames makes the Phoenix
an
important solar symbol. The Ancients likened the Phoenix to the Sun, which
blazes brightly through-out the day, escapes to darkness throughout the
night, and is reborn in full glory on the morrow. The Phoenix is also an
important lunar symbol because it's death lasts three days- like the
darkside of the moon. It is then reborn as the waxing moon. The Phoenix
speaks to the yin/yang, light/dark, and feminine/masculine aspects in all
of
us. Some say that the tears of the Phoenix have the Miraculous Powers for
Healing. In Chinese culture, the Phoenix embodies the totality of the
cosmos; Egyptian culture associates the Phoenix with the sun God, Ra, as a
symbol of immortality and resurrection. Christian culture also views the
Phoenix as a symbol of resurrection analogous to the resurrection of Christ.
In Japanese culture the Phoenix signifies justice, obedience, and fidelity.
In our ever-changing world of uncertainty and fear, The Phoenix still
burns brightly as a symbol of resurrection from the ashes, and of the
indomitability and strength of the human spirit!

Eagle's

The Eagle's Knot is a Magical Union of Masculine and Feminine Spirit,
creating a powerful Talisman of Protection with Divine Wisdom and Spirit!
At the center is the Triquetra, symbol of the Female
Trinity and the power of the divine feminine. The Triquetra also acts as a
protective talisman because its continuous design prevents the entry of evil
or negative energies.
The Circle surrounding it represents the sacred space
of the Mother. The protective and meditative Celtic knot work intertwines
the Triquetra with six Eagles in spiritual flight!
Metaphorically, the soaring of the eagle as a sky god suggests strong masculine
power and
association with the Male Solar Energies. The Eagle was adopted by many cultures
as a sacred symbol
of Illumination and Spiritual healing. The Greek God Zeus transformed into
an Eagle to
control thunder and lightening. Christian mystics saw the Eagle as a symbol
of resurrection. Native Americans honored the eagle as a great, mystical
spirit and continue to use the prized feathers for healing and purifying ceremonies.
The "Eagle's Knot" is for those who are searching for Truth and
rediscovery of the Self. Within its power and protectiveness, one can safely
seek out the higher senses of Passion, Purity, Creativity, and Healing. The
vision of the eagle illuminates the Spirit.

The Mythical Gryphon
The
legendary Gryphon possesses the head and wings of an
eagle and the body of a lion. The gryphon loved gold and precious stones and
spent
hours upon hours enjoying their glint and gleam.
Gryphons are said to be the guardians of treasures.
The gryphons claws were said to have magical powers.
This made the claws quite valuable, as they could be used to
protect the food and drink of royalty. A drinking cup made of the gryphons
claw was
said to change color when filled with a poisonous substance.
Procuring the precious claw could only be accomplished by a holy man;
if he cured the beast of sickness, the gryphon awarded him
with a magical claw. The gryphon was said to be a symbol of Christ on Earth.
The gryphons body of a lion symbolizes the strength and sovereign power;
the head and wings of an eagle symbolize Christs ascension into heaven.
The gryphon was a complex creature; a lover and thief of gold and jewels,
but also a trusted guardian. This creature drew the chariots of the gods,
represented the glory of the sun, and possessed Great Magical Powers.

Phoenix Rising
The
name Phoenix means a God of Phoenicia.
It is a mythical bird which evolved from the beliefs of sun-worshipping peoples.
The sun was thought to fly through the sky, immolated and reborn
by the fires of sunset and sunrise. The Phoenix became a symbol
of ressurrection;
burning in the fires, yet being reborn.
Mythology tells us that this great bird lived for several centuries,
then built its own funeral pyre, lit it, and descended into the flames.
After its body burned up, it would arise newborn, out of the ashes.........

Celtic Unicorn
The
Unicorn is a mystical creature born out of the dreams of all
who believe in the human spirit, the purity of the heart, the creativity of
the mind,
and the strength of the bond between all living beings.
Some say the Unicorn has a dual existence; a human form on earth,
and a wild and beautiful equine creature on the astral plane.
The Unicorn embraces the fire and power of the masculine spirit,
as well as the passion and nurturing spirit of femininity. Allegorically,
the Unicorn symbolizes all we aspire to be; strong but tempered by wisdom;
spontaneous but tempered with calm; powerful but balanced by compassion.
The Unicorn is a perfect creature, delicately balanced by yin and yang,
the embodiment of the male and female spirit. The spiraled horn of the Unicorn
is the source of its great magic and powerful healing abilities.
Legend tells us that although the Unicorn offered its healing powers freely,
men possessed by
greed and wanton hunted down the Unicorn for bounty.
Today, it is said, the magical horn enables the Unicorn to maintain its
dual existence; on earth and on the astral plane.

Yggdrasill
The World Tree
In
Norse mythology, it is believed that the axis of the universe is
an enormous ash tree. This tree, Yggdrasill, links the worlds
of
Asgard (where the Gods reside) Midgard (where humans reside) and Nifheim,
(the land of darkness and freezing mist) known as Hel.
Yggdrasill is called The World Tree because it is thought to
be the guardian of the whole world. The tree is universally thought of as
a symbol
of stability and growth, and revered for its life-giving abilities.
The roots reach deep into the earth to ground us; the branches reach
high into the heavens to enable our spirit to grow; the fruits feed and nurture
our bodies.
The tree represents life, death, and resurrection.
It buds new in Spring, ripens in Summer, withers in Fall and dies in Winter,
but awakens anew in the endless cycle of life!

The
Unity Amulet
The Unity symbol represents the sacred doorway which
opens
when two souls embrace. Entering this doorway is always a challenge.
We encounter different ideas, different values, and different likes and dislikes.
It often feels as if we've entered a different world.
The experience can be overwhelming. It can cause us to run back to the safe
place of oneness,
where we understand the world and feel safe.
But often oneness is a lonely place where nothing grows and life may be predictable,
but stagnant.
The Unity symbol reminds us that one plus one always yields something greater,
while one multiplied by it self will always remain the same.
Entering the sacred doorway yields an opportunity for growth, acceptance,
and honoring
one another in peace and in love.
In your personal relationships, work relationships, and your relationship
to the world,
the key is to practice Unity. The two overlapping circles form the almond-shaped,
vesica piscis, at the center.
The vesica piscis is often called "the womb of the Goddess", where
creation takes place.
Within the center is the triad, the three linked circles.
The triad represents resolution to conflict; two opposites and a neutral for
binding,
balancing, and a transforming presence.
Wear the Unity amulet to encourage peaceful and harmonious relationships to
enter your life.

The Barbury Crop Circle
Crop circles
have been a mysterious part of our world for many, many years.
The first crop circle was found in England, in 1647.
Crop circles are unexplained designs that are imprinted in fields of
corn, wheat, barley, grass, trees, and even snow. Some say,
that these inexplicable events often take place between the hours of 2 to
4 A.M.
Several witnesses have claimed to see a burst of light, which is later replaced
by a brilliant
geometric design within the field. Crop circles are believed to encode
obscure theorems based on Euclidian geometry and the Sacred Geometry
Paradigm;
therefore, they are mathematically perfect. Many believe that
crop circles,
and other sacred sites are found upon intersecting points along
the Earths invisible energy grid. Some say that the energy found at
these
sites is so powerful that it has been linked to heightened states of awareness
in people, and animals. Others claim that crop circles can be places of great
healing.
Our design is of the Barbury Circle, or the Barbury Castle
formation.
Interestingly, it seems that there is direct correlation between the circles
at the corners of the formation, and the lower circles on the Tree of Life
in the Qabala.
Therefore, this configuration can be seen as a symbolic figure of the Divine
order,
which connects one level of reality to another. Wear this pendant, and feel
the energy of the
Barbury circle in your own life! With a heightened awareness,
perhaps you too will be a believer!
